- If a rider should fail to remember their payment, Saddle River Equestrian reserves the right to withhold the lesson.
- Saddle River Equestrian does not offer refunds.
- All riders will bring their horses to the ring no more than five minutes before the scheduled lesson time. Riders who are able should be ready to mount at the time their lesson is scheduled to begin, otherwise this groundwork will be implemented into the student’s lesson until he/she is capable of doing this themselves. Lesson time also includes any tack adjustment and warm-up and cool-down of horse.

- Students should be familiar with basic horsemanship including grooming, tacking etc. Saddle River Equestrian offers stable management lessons; ask the office for details.
- In the event that the student is late, Saddle River Equestrian will attempt to compensate them for the lost time ONLY if both the instructor and horse's schedule allow. However, this is rarely possible and in the event that it cannot be accomplished, the time will be forfeited without the right to future compensation. If a student is 15 minutes late he/she will not be offered the remainder of the lesson.
- There is a 24-hour cancellation policy.
- Saddle River Equestrian reserves the right to change instructors without notice.
- Children should be supervised while at the stable - no running, screaming and/or "horseplay" allowed, it may frighten the horses.
