Saddle River Equestrian offers horseback riding near New York City, on the state line between Rockland County, NY and Bergen County, NJ. Our 70-stall horse riding facility offers year-round lessons, training, boarding, sales and leases of hunter, jumper and equitation horses.
With an emphasis on safety and suitability for both the rider and horse, we welcome riders of all levels and ages to our full service equestrian facility. At Saddle River Equestrian, horse enthusiasts will find the highest quality training by a staff of experienced, caring professionals who are committed to helping you reach your full potential.
Our team will give you the skills to obtain your riding goals - whether that goal is to successfully compete at the top A-rated horse shows in the country or to simply feel comfortable while riding and handling horses.

Summer Camp
Saddle River Equestrian offers a summer riding program for horse-crazy kids. This program runs Tuesday-Friday from 9am-1pm for 8 weeks during the months of July and August. Our riders range from first time beginners to advance campers.

Saddle River Equestrian offers a winter riding program for horse crazy kids. This program is offered Saturdays from February to June. Our riders range from first time beginners to advance campers. Campers are placed in riding lessons with kids of similar ages and abilities.

Saddle River Equestrian's partnership with Saddle River Day School provides students access to excellent trainers, horses/ponies and facilities.
Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced rider traveling on the “A” Horse Show Circuit, the Saddle River Equestrian Program can help take your riding skill, enjoyment and competitiveness to the next level. Our program focuses on English equitation, hunt seat and jumper disciplines.
